EAST LANSING — Michigan State football’s offseason will be open season for job hunting.
When the 2020 season begins at home against Northwestern on Sept. 5, the Spartans will have a much different look on the field in coach Mark Dantonio's 14th season. They will be younger on defense, with a new quarterback under center and several returning players competing for jobs. And that is without knowing if there will be any new additions from the NCAA transfer portal who could invigorate the quest for playing time.
