Thursday night’s thrashing of the Michigan State Spartans by Alabama was one of the toughest things to watch all bowl season long. Spartan fan or not, that game was cringe-worthy, to say the least, and you probably wondered to yourself when the beating would end.

Two and a half quarters of utter Alabama dominance had Michigan State disappointed and flat-out embarrassed on a national stage, losing 38-0 to the Tide.
It’s not that the Spartans aren’t a good team — they’ve proved otherwise on multiple occasions this year against ranked opponents — but it wasn’t their night and Alabama was just that good.
