DALLAS — Connor Cook is known best for his poise in clutch situations and ability to complete passes through tight windows, but the Michigan State quarterback might need to rely more on one of his more hidden assets against Alabama.
Specifically, his mobility.
The Crimson Tide ranks third in the nation in sacks, and Alabama makes no secret of it that they'll be coming after Cook in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
"Guys got to cover and the big guys up front have got to get to him in less than four seconds," Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland said.
