EAST LANSING - Mark Dantonio walked down the staircase at the Duffy Daugherty Building on Tuesday morning with a group of media members waiting for him.
The Michigan State football coach had a smile on his face and stopped to pose for a picture with a young fan who had just wandered through the entrance.
It was a much different scenario from almost the exact time one week earlier when Dantonio and athletic director Mark Hollis spent a half-hour press conference being grilled about multiple sexual assault investigations involving four players who are no longer with the team.
