It's not all good news for Michigan State football on this first day of the early signing period.
Aaron Young, the 3-star running back from Coatesville, Pa., had been committed to MSU, but has signed a national letter of intent with Rutgers.
Young, a 5-foot-8, 190-pounder, is the No. 38 running back in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.
His brother, Avery, is a freshman cornerback for the Scarlet Knights.
This takes MSU's expected class of 2019 size down to 19. It picked up Farmington Hills Harrison offensive lineman Maverick Harsen, who flipped from Central Michigan on Wednesday.
