EAST LANSING - Terrence Samuel has two decades of coaching experience and has recruited hundreds of players.
Cody White was one of them and, after arriving on campus, he proved to be one-of-a-kind.
Samuel, Michigan State's wide receivers coach, recalls White hammering him with question after question. The former Walled Lake Western star who signed with the Spartans' 2017 class brought a wealth of football knowledge to East Lansing and wanted to expand on it. Quickly and thoroughly.
"He was third-degreeing me," Samuel recalled. "I don't know if I've ever had a guy that was questioning me so much about the offense.
