EAST LANSING -- At halftime, Tom Izzo was doing something he does often: yelling at his team.
Michigan State was up by 10 points against Iowa at the Breslin Center, but Izzo was unhappy with his players' defense and ball movement in the first 20 minutes and let them know it.
"Coach Iz really got on us," Spartans forward Kenny Goins said.
After the game, the Michigan State coach was saying something he rarely does.
"That was a shocking game for me," Izzo said.
