EAST LANSING -- College football season officially ended last night after dominating our attention for the last four-plus months.
That means we're finally in that nearly three-month window when we can fully focus on college hoops. Plenty of that attention will go to No. 4 Michigan State, which is approaching mid-January with one loss.
The Spartans' week entails a Thursday home game against Iowa (7 p.m., ESPN) followed by a Sunday afternoon trip to Wisconsin.
