The Michigan State Spartans have landed a third verbal commitment in the 2022 recruiting class, as in-state three-star athlete Tyrell Henry has pledged to the Spartans.
Henry becomes the first player from Michigan in the Spartans’ 2022 class and joins offensive linemen Gavin Broscious (Arizona) and Kristian Phillips (Georgia).
Henry, listed at 6-foot-even, 160 pounds, plays at Roseville High School, just about 90 miles away from Spartan Stadium. He is listed as an “athlete,” playing on both sides of the ball in high school, as well as special teams, but Henry projects as a wide receiver at Michigan State.
