The Michigan State Spartans have picked up a 14th verbal commitment in the program’s 2021 recruiting class, as three-star safety Jah’von Grigsby is choosing to take his talents to East Lansing.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native out of Scotlandville Magnet High School is listed at 6-foot-even and 182 pounds. Grigsby is rated as the No. 19 player in his home state, the No. 52 safety in the 2021 class and the No. 703 prospect overall, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Head coach Mel Tucker, along with Louisiana native and graduate assistant Cordae Hankton and safeties coach Mike Tressel, originally offered Grigsby in April and have been pursuing him hard ever since.
