The Michigan State Spartans’ class of 2021 signee Max Christie was named to the 2021 McDonald’s All-American Game roster this afternoon. The 6-foot-7 shooting guard hails from Rolling Meadows High School in Illinois and is a five-star composite recruit per 247Sports.
Christie is the first Spartan named a McDonald’s All American since Jaren Jackson Jr. in 2017. Prior to the recent four-year drought, Michigan State had a string of players earn the distinction including Miles Bridges (2016), Deyonta Davis (2015), Gary Harris (2012), Branden Dawson (2011) and Keith Appling (2010).
