Well, that didn’t go as planned for the Michigan State Spartans. Four-star 2020 quarterback Chubba Purdy has committed to Louisville over MSU and other programs.
Purdy, who plays at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona, is the No. 6 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 class, No. 8 player in the state of Arizona, and the No. 214 overall in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.
The Spartans initially offered Purdy on May 21. He took an unofficial visit to East Lansing on June 7. Prior to that, Purdy took his only official visit to Louisville.
