After reportedly looking great in pre-draft workouts, Branden Dawson finds himself starting the waiting game a bit early on the big day. Although many believe the 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward will be drafted in the mid-to-late second round tonight, there is a chance he goes unchosen.
It’s not that he doesn’t have the talent to make it in the NBA, it’s that the former Michigan State Spartan sometimes loses sight of the potential he really has.

Dawson, to me, is somewhat like a watered down version of Durrell Summers in the way both of them could disappear in games, but then when they wanted to break out and show up, they did so in a big way.
