Utah safety commit Micah Croom (La Mirada, Calif.) will be taking a tour of top programs in the Midwest this coming week, with visits to the Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Ohio State Buckeyes on the docket from Wednesday through Sunday.
Per Ryan Bartow of 247Sports, he's unsure of the dates or order of the visits at this stage but is receiving an itinerary Monday.
The three-star safety is currently being evaluated by all four programs. While it's unclear whether or not he's willing to waver from his current commitment to the Utes, his visit to the campus in East Lansing at least gives the Spartans an opening to work with.
Croom is currently ranked as the nation's No. 36 safety and the No. 55 prospect in California in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
