Chris Bergeron was brought to his alma mater, Miami, to make changes.
After all, the RedHawks haven't finished over .500 since the 2014-15 season — the same year, incidentally, that Bergeron began a five-year stretch of 20-plus wins with Bowling Green. Last spring, Bergeron led the Falcons to their first NCAA tournament appearance in program history.
Things have felt different in Oxford, Ohio, though, where Miami has struggled to recapture the glory years of not that long ago — eight straight NCAA tourneys from 2006-13.
But again, Bergeron was brought in to make changes, and he's shown that he'll hold his team accountable.
