St. Cloud State continued its strong play in the NCHC pod in Omaha, moving to 4-1-0 now on the season, after a 5-3 win over North Dakota.
St. Cloud pulled away in the second period, getting a pair of goals two minutes apart to take a 4-2 lead. Jami Krannila added a goal in the third for the Huskies.
SCSU was 2-for-5 on the power play, and killed off all five of North Dakota's chances, turning around what had been so far the one sore spot.
