A battle of two of the top teams in the country, lived up to billing once again inside the NCHC's Omaha "pod."
Grant Mismash redirected a point shot past Minnesota-Duluth goaltender Ryan Fanti with 48 seconds remaining in regulation, as North Dakota downed the Bulldogs, 2-1.
It was a physical game that resulted in few high-grade opportunities for the teams, which combined for just 43 shots.
"Typical North Dakota, Minesota-Duluth battle," ND coach Brad Berry said. "Back and forth. It seems like there's a lot of one-goal games in these pods.
