Miami struggles in second half, falls to Bowling Green

After holding a halftime lead, the Miami Basketball team (9-9, 2-3 MAC) struggled offensively and defensively in the second half and fell to Bowling Green (12-6, 3-2 MAC) 81-70 at Millett Hall on Tuesday. Miami scored 27 points off 18 caused turnovers for the game, but couldn’t overcome the Falcons’ 51 points and 70 percent shooting in the second half.

“I thought we had a great first half,” Miami head coach Jack Owens said. “We didn’t execute great from an offensive standpoint, but we did some really good things defensively. Then we get in that second half, from the fourteen-minute mark to the eight-minute mark, we’ve just got to figure things out.
