OXFORD, Ohio -- Bam Bowman and Dalonte Brown each scored 18 points and grabbed a combined 17 rebounds as Miami of Ohio walloped Army, 85-55 in a nonconference game on Saturday.
Bowman put the Redhawks in front for good with a layup four minutes in and it turned into a double-digit advantage four minutes after that. Miami held an 18-point lead going into the final minute of the first half, but Alex King and Tommy Funk each scored at the basket to cut it to 40-26 at intermission.
Miami held a decisive edge on the boards, outrebounding the Black Knights 49-33.
