DeUnna Hendrix has been named the ninth women’s basketball head coach in Miami University history, the school’s athletic department announced Tuesday.
“After a national search, it was clear that DeUnna was the right choice with strong Midwest ties to lead our women’s basketball program,” Athletic Director David Sayler said in a statement. “Her success on and off the court, combined with seven years of successful head coaching experience, makes her the ideal fit to continue to move this program in a championship direction.”
Hendrix joins the RedHawks after seven seasons in charge of the High Point University women’s hoops program.
