According to Clark Spencer at the Miami Herald, Miami’s first overall selection, Trevor Rogers, has signed with the Marlins.
Rogers, Miami’s first draft choice in last weeks’ draft, has agreed to terms with the Marlins. The 13th overall selection out of Carlsbad, New Mexico signed for $3.4 million, which is nearly $500,000 below slot. The deal is still pending a physical.
