Trevor Richards pitched well, but the bats did not show up, Fish fall 6-1

Game two of the young Marlins season is over and with that they are 0-2. The spring training hype might be wearing off right about now. Rough defense and poor hit production plagued tonights game. The bright side is Trevor Richards had a strong start.

German Márquez: 6 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K

The Fish did not have a good day offensively. They were only able to produce two hits throughout the contest. Márquez was in the groove for most of the night. The one time he did slip up Curtis Granderson took him deep.
