The Marlins know what they're doing. They could be forcing Dan Jennings out in the process.
The team that does not like to negotiate contract extensions during the regular season has reportedly already started looking for its next manager. Miami is known to be seeking an experienced manager, and according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, Dusty Baker and Manny Acta are in the mix.
But while the Marlins are searching for their next manager, there is still a familiar face sitting in the dugout. Dan Jennings, who took over for Mike Redmond in May, has served as the team's manager and might have had interest in managing next season.
