After four straight wins to start the campaign, Pablo Lopez (4-2, 2.82) dropped his second consecutive decision for the Miami Marlins. He allowed five runs on seven hits and zero walks in four innings, striking out three. Jacob deGrom (3-0, 2.62) struck out 12 in 8 2/3 innings for the win.
Jonathan Villar led the Marlins offense, going two-for-four with his second home run and his seventh stolen base of the year. Jesus Aguilar added a pair of doubles in the game.
