A short time ago, Miami Marlins fans wondered if the team would complete its objectives for the 2019 offseason. In the wake of being held hostage by a trade that never seemed to materialize, the organization did not add veteran players until the later stages of the Hot Stove season.
Now, it appears the team is done adding players to their camp roster and look to concentrate on who is wearing one of the new uniforms this spring. After Sergio Romo joined pitchers and catchers at the team’s Jupiter, Florida facility for practice, manager Don Mattingly and the 68 players (yes, 68) are focused on trying to improve on a disappointing 2018 season.
