After spending 10 and a half seasons in the Marlins minor league system, outfielder Isaac Galloway is finally a major leaguer. He will provide some center field depth along with Marlins rookie Magneuris Sierra, since Lewis Brinson is on the disabled list and Cameron Maybin was traded on Tuesday.
Galloway has enjoyed a nice season in Triple-A this year slashing .262/.315/.429 with 3 home runs and 20 stolen bases. This will be a very nice story to follow as the season progresses.
With Brad Ziegler being traded as well, Jarlin García returns to the majors.
