Coming into this series, all I could think of was Dan Jennings.
Not because I was staying at a Holiday Inn Express while watching the game, and not even because Justin Nicolino was pitching instead of Andrew Heaney. But simply because for the second year in a row, the Miami Marlins were kicking off a home series against the Arizona Diamondbacks after having just undergone significant changes to the team.
Last year, Jennings would make his debut against them, only to go on to be swept in a four game set.
