The Marlins actually did it: Lewis Brinson optioned to Triple-A
A few weeks overdue, but the appropriate move https://t.co/S65wREDQvk— Fish Stripes (@fishstripes) April 30, 2019
The day started with the Marlins sending the over-matched Lewis Brinson back to Triple-A New Orleans to work on his mechanics. The team activated Garrett Cooper from the IL in a corresponding move on the roster but unfortunately appeared to get hurt when he took a pitch off his wrist. Fortunately, X-rays were negative said a visibly-relieved Cooper after the game.
