The Marlins were able to snap a seven-game losing streak to start the weekend which they desperately needed after losing a quick two-game series to the Tampa Bay Rays, they kept the winning ways going by winning two against the New York Mets. For the week they went 2-2 and overall for the season are now 12-31.
