Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images - The following MLB free agents received qualifying offers prior to Sunday’s deadline: Brandon Belt, Nick Castellanos, Michael Conforto, Carlos Correa, Freddie Freeman, Raisel Iglesias, Robbie Ray, Eduardo Rodriguez, Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Trevor Story, Noah Syndergaard, Chris Taylor and Justin Verlander. Nearly all of them are expected to decline in order to pursue multi-year deals on the open market, but the league’s expiring collective bargaining agreement may complicate the decision in a couple cases.
