NYM 2, MIA 10; Marlins win the final spring game

JUPITER, Fla.—We came full circle this afternoon with Daniel Castano taking the mound for the Miami Marlins’ final game this spring against the New York Mets. In his 423 innings of work on Sunday, Castano allowed just one run on five hits. He struck out five batters and walked none. The lone run came from a solo home run off the bat of left fielder Brandon Nimmo.

The Marlins took advantage of a few misplays by the Mets defense early on, plating 4 runs in the first inning.
