JUPITER, Fla.—We came full circle this afternoon with Daniel Castano taking the mound for the Miami Marlins’ final game this spring against the New York Mets. In his 42⁄3 innings of work on Sunday, Castano allowed just one run on five hits. He struck out five batters and walked none. The lone run came from a solo home run off the bat of left fielder Brandon Nimmo.
The Marlins took advantage of a few misplays by the Mets defense early on, plating 4 runs in the first inning.
