NL Central Notes: Reds sticking with Price as manager

Despite entering the All-Star break 25 games under .500 at 32-57, the Reds have no plans to fire manager Bryan Price.

Cincinnati relieved pitching coach Mark Riggins of his duties last week. The Reds starting rotation has an ERA of 5.29 and the bullpen stands at 5.73. Both of these marks are last in the majors.

"We don't anticipate any other changes," President of Baseball Operations Walt Jocketty told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "I think he's done an excellent job. This has been a tough first half for anybody, but especially the manager trying to field a competitive club every night and piece together a pitching staff that has been broken most of the year.
