Cole Gillespie and the Miami Marlins flexed their muscles early and often in a 9-6 victory against the Milwaukee Brewers.
It's definitely a little too late for the Marlins to be considered contenders at this point in the season, but the Fish are beginning to show signs of life as they won for their sixth time in eight games when they completed a 9-6 clubbing of the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Tuesday.
Outfielder Cole Gillespie got things started in a big way when he cleared the bases with a three-run triple in the first to put Miami up 3-0.
