14 hits powered the Miami Marlins past the Chicago Cubs Wednesday night as the Marlins captured their second straight victory, a 7-3 triumph over the Cubs.
The scoring began for the Marlins in the bottom of the second as J.T. Realmuto doubled, scoring Marcel Ozuna and pushing Ichiro to third. The following at-bat, Adieny Hechavarria reached on an infield single, subsequently scoring Ichiro from third. The big inning was capped with RBI singles by both Dee Gordon and Martin Prado powering the Fish to a commanding 4-0 lead.
