3B Martin Prado was recalled from the Jupiter Hammerheads after a rehab assignment. After missing most of last season, Prado was finally added to the Miami Marlins active roster on April 27th. He played for four weeks before getting put back on the DL with a left hamstring strain. In 24 games this season, he had slashed .194/.242/.226. Entering Thursday night’s game against the Nationals, he had 97 career home runs. That number went up one after a second-inning long ball.
AND JUST LIKE THAT! In his first game back Martin Prado hits a 3-run homer off the foul pole and the @Marlins take a 7-0 lead over the Nationals in the 2nd inning.
