Miami Marlins telling teams 'they'll listen to offers' for veteran players

The Marlins might have officially deemed themselves sellers.

The Marlins are now officially sellers. Miami has "reached the jumping off point on the season," according to Clark Spencer of The Miami Herald, and is telling teams it will listen to offers on Mat Latos, Dan Haren, Jeff Baker, and Brad Hand.

Haren, Latos, and Baker are all set to become free agents at the end of the season and Hand has had difficulty securing his spot on the 25-man roster in the past. Hand is also out of options and might be attractive to a contending club in pursuit of left-handed pitching depth.
