It wasn’t just Zac Gallen that had to move his base of operations. The Miami Marlins were very busy on Thursday, with 18 roster moves in addition to the promotion of Gallen.
New Arrivals
Four recently drafted right-handed pitchers reported to the short-season-A Batavia Muckdogs, in the New York-Penn League. Sixth round-pick M.D. Johnson, ninth-rounder Evan Brabrand, 24th-round pick Jeff Lindgren, and 30th-round choice Joey Steele all joined the Muckdogs less than a week into the short season.

Aside from Gallen, nine other players in the Miami Marlins feeder system were moved up a level on Thursday.
