The Miami Marlins spoiled Jackie Robinson Day for the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, as they clinched their first series win of the young season with a 6-2 victory at Turner Field.
Not only was it the anniversary of Robinson’s color landmark major league debut, but also Adeiny Hechavarria‘s birthday. The now-26-year-old celebrated with his first home run of the season, sending a #42 Eric Stults offering into the left field seats for a two-run shot.
