While a majority of the Miami Marlins minor league affiliates 2021 seasons have come to an end, the Triple-A season for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp still has about a week remaining. With this, two of the Marlins top prospects have joined the Jumbo Shrimp from Double-A Pensacola over the past week.
The first of these prospects that have joined Triple-A recently is Miami’s No. 14 prospect Peyton Burdick. Entering play on Friday night, the 24-year-old outfielder and former third round pick had appeared in three games where he has collected three hits in 12 at-bats with two doubles and an RBI.
