Miami Marlins News: Marlins option Nicolino to Triple-AAA

The Marlins have optioned right-hander Justin Nicolino to Triple-AAA New Orleans because of his poor performance as of late, throwing for a 6.44 ERA over seven starts and failing to win a start since May 3. Righty Paul Clemens was called up to start in his place Monday night.

Clemens will make his first MLB start since 2013 on Monday.

Reliever Kyle Barraclough looks set to create a strange piece of history, which is leading the National League in both walk and strikeout rates. Only Carlos Marmol in 2010 has hit this mark before.
