Hanley Ramirez watched the Marlins recognize their Franchise Four on Wednesday night at Marlins Park but he was not among them. According to Manny Navarro of The Miami Herald, Manager Dan Jennings said there were not any bad choices.
"You look at Hanley, you look at Miguel Cabrera, had we had more space you could put a couple of other guys," Jennings said. "Josh Beckett was pretty well known around this joint. But you're right, it was tough decisions. You never know what fans [are thinking] when they vote. Maybe some of them harbored ill feelings or were more about a special moment when they were a kid -- the '97 Series or something like that.
