Miami Marlins morning news: Jarred Cosart cleared to throw

Jarred Cosart has been sidelined with vertigo, however according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, Cosart has been cleared to throw and might return this month.

Jarred Cosart, dealing with a left inner ear disorder, has been cleared to throw on Friday, and the Marlins have not ruled out the possibility of the 25-year-old pitching in the big leagues before the end of August.

The Marlins' offense was solid but the club couldn't overcome a late one run deficit in a 9-8 loss to the Braves on Thursday night.
