In an attempt to haul the Marlins out of the basement of home run-hitting teams, the organization has decided to alter the dimensions of the park to make the stadium more hitter-friendly next season. Since 2012, Marlins Park has seen the second-fewest homers in the league.
Ichiro Suzuki will continue his quest for 3000 hits in South Florida as the team has signed him to another 1-year deal.
