The wait is over and the ace returns home. It’s about time Jose Fernandez pitches again for the Marlins. Tonight, Fernandez makes the start against the Washington Nationals at Marlins Park.
Fernandez hasn’t pitched for the Fish since August 7th, when he left the game early in Atlanta. After being diagnosed with a biceps strain, Miami’s ace was thought to be shut down. However, he’ll return now to finish off the season with the Marlins.
