The Red Sox weren’t in the mood to celebrate Trevor Richard’s first major league start or Brian Anderson’s first career home run. After Miami got on the board in the bottom of the second they seemed to be on their way to a win. Boston was able to string a series of some lucky hits and some untimely misplays by the Marlins in the top of the fourth inning that sent the game into a downward spiral. Boston found themselves in the driver’s seat after a Hanley Ramirez two run home run in the fifth inning.
