Due to some spring training injuries the Marlins have had to go with Dillon Peters in yesterday’s game against Chicago. After a rough spring training Peters (Miami’s no. 15 prospect according to MLB Pipeline) pitched his best game as a Marlin going six innings without allowing a run on only six hits. This is best performance by a Marlins pitcher in the first four games. The Marlins won with a final score of 6-0 after Brian Anderson’s bases clearing double in the bottom of the fifth inning to blow the game wide open.
