Jose Urena was unable to get off to good start early on as the Mets were able to tag Ureña for three runs in the second inning. As the story has been the whole season about the Marlins starters Ureña was only able to go five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, however, his last two starts have faired better than his season opener so Ureña is trending upwards. Adrian Gonzalez, Amed Rosario, and Jay Bruce provided the Mets with all the runs they needed, as did Kevin Plawecki’s double play grounder.
