Miami Marlins getting needed young talent in bullpen

The Miami Marlins are slowly promoting the guys they should have played in the 2016 bullpen all along.

The Miami Marlins figured to feature a couple of prospect names out of the bullpen in 2016, given the fact that the team did not have great seventh inning options left after Carter Capps's injury marred their depth. However, even though guys like Kyle Barraclough, Brian Ellington, and Nick Wittgren were available to use as cheap talent, the Fish opted for veteran names in the lower-leverage end of the bullpen. The team dug up Craig Breslow, Dustin McGowan, and Chris Narveson and chose those names over the younger, better-upside talent.
