Miami is not wasting any time before locking up its 2015 MLB Draft selections. The Marlins announced seven more selections agreed to contracts on Thursday, with second round pick Brett Lilek and third rounder Isaiah White among them.
Although the Marlins have yet to sign first baseman Josh Naylor, who was selected with the 12th overall pick in the first round, eight of Miami's selections picked in the first 10 rounds have been signed. Naylor is expected to sign next week, according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro.
Naylor is not formally allowed to sign with the Marlins until he officially graduates from high school, which will come on June 25.
