MIA 12, TB 7; Fish Secure 1st Win As Bats Come Alive in Series Finale

After a slight offensive surge in the tail end of Friday’s loss, the Marlins entered Game 3 of the 2021 season hoping build off the momentum of the 4 runs scored in the game’s final three innings.

Miami would most certainly do that and more, putting up a dozen runs on the strength of 14 hits in what would turn out to be a 12-7 victory, their first ‘dub’ of 2021. The team would score at least one run in every inning except the 6th.

Right off the bat - pun intended - the team got to 41-year old veteran Rich Hill, coaxing out a run in the bottom of the 1st thanks to shortstop Miguel Rojas who worked a 10 pitch walk and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of first baseman Jesús Aguilar.
